The daily life of British soldiers patrolling in the surroundings of the South of Armagh, along the Southern/Northern Ireland invisible border, the action epicenter of the IRA activists. Based upon Tony AFN Clark’s eponymous novel published in 1983, this film is the first part of a diptych on Northern Ireland issues (the second film will be Elephant, in 1989).
