The programmer’s eye
The first film by Jean Costa sure is daring. The director also appears on screen, disguised as Tonio, a silent hero listening to his desires in a hot, mystical, and shameless Corsica. “Naughty Spot” sets us ablaze - first with this naughty title, a fine and well-found synthesis of our desires on apps - The first film by Jean Costa sure is daring. The director also appears on screen, disguised as Tonio, a silent hero listening to his desires in a hot, mystical, and shameless Corsica. “Naughty Spot” sets us ablaze - first with this naughty title, a fine and well-found synthesis of our desires on apps - and is surprising in its generosity and shape marked by the search for everything sensual. It works around impressions and projections on the screen, sometimes feverish, sometimes lascivious, and aspires to ease the violence and rawness of romantic encounters through the tenderness of its characters. – Pierre Guidez
