Official synopsis
Audrey joins a participatory isolated workcamp where Kathleen, Laurence and Baptiste, volunteers from different backgrounds, live and work under the supervision of Aymeric. In a group marked by its disparity, each one tries to find one’s way around, to form bonds and to create a community.
The programmer’s eye
The script of “Koban Louzoù” undoubtedly matured in the mind of Brieuc Schiebe during lockdown. By proposing a comical fake documentary about a hypothetical self-managed community, he benevolently pokes fun at the essentially theoretical craze that alternative lifestyles triggered at the time. The film would not be what it is without its grotesque characters, who are brilliantly well-written and embodied by the cast, starting with the low-cost guru, who oppresses the others more than he federates them.
