Official synopsis

Strange yellow dust storms sweep over the city. Nacer, a journalist, is covering the phenomenon for his newspaper. As unexplained events multiply, his wife Fajar reappears. Facing increasingly threatening winds and as the city seems to sink into madness, Nacer must unravel a past that haunts him.

Biography and Filmography

Dania Reymond-Boughenou is a French-Algerian filmmaker, born in Algiers in 1982, and trained at Le Fresnoy National Studio of Contemporary Arts. Her short films, including Le Jardin d'essai, have been showcased and awarded at numerous festivals such as FID, Premiers Plans, Côté Court, Brive, and New Directors/New Films. In 2019, she directed Constellation de la Rouguière, which was notably selected for Clermont-Ferrand and the official selection for the César Awards for Best Short Documentary. In 2024, she completed Les Tempêtes, her first feature-length fiction film.
