The programmer’s eye
Because of a canine influenza epidemic, Megasaki's mayor orders a quarantine for the whole town's dogs. They are sent on an island that therefore gets the name of Isle of Dogs. The 12 year old Atari takes a plane to get to the island in order to look for Spots, his faithful companion. Being helped by a group of five fearless and attaching dogs he discovers a conspiracy that threatens the town. Wes Anderson's manic precision and esthetic in a film with an extremely powerful scope, adventure films, ecological fable, animalistic comedy, praise to disobedience, Isle of Dogs is all that at the same time.
