Official synopsis
Jeanne, 8, is a strong-tempered little girl. Her mother, on the other hand, is going through depression and is compelled to send her daughter to Granny Onion’s for Christmas… but Jeanne doesn’t understand what is happening to her mother and leaves home reluctantly. In the countryside, there's nothing to do, and Granny's house smells like onions! Yet, against all odds, the vacation turns out to be quite an adventure.

Written with great subtlety, this cartoon is a gem from the animation world. The theme is delicate, yet the film remains imbued with dreaminess and fantasy, especially through its characters, played with mischief by Yolande Moreau, Arthur H and Céline Sallette. — Aurélie Oria Badoc
