Official synopsis

Orleans, 2011. Joane and Sylvia are 20 years old, they work as dancers in a strip club just outside the city. In the city center, Joan of Arc celebrations are held. The two girls find themselves immersed in these strange festivities.

Biography and Filmography

Since 2001, Virgil Vernier's films have mixed fiction, documentary and mythology. Among them are “Thermidor” (2009), “Pandore” (2010), “Orléans” (2012), “Mercuriales” (2014) and “Sophia Antipolis” (2018). His films have been selected at numerous international festivals including Cannes, Locarno and Berlin.
