Official synopsis

Nica, a young student in agronomy, returns to Puglia after a three-year absence. She finds her father in debt, her country devastated by pollution, but most importantly olive trees plagued by pests. While her father is desperate to earn money, Nica focuses on saving the trees. She’ll have to convince more than one person in order to do so. Anchored in a dramatic reality – the situation in Southern Italy and the withering of olive trees – “Sow the Wind” highlights, among other things, the talent of actress Yile Yara Vianello.
