Official synopsis
"SHORTBUS" follows several New York characters whose tragicomic adventures navigate between sexuality and feelings. They all meet at the Shortbus, an unusual place where politics, art and sex mingle.
The programmer’s eye
A powerful reflection on how differences are created, just like the Shortbus, a school bus traditionally reserved to disabled, temperamental, gifted children and people on the margins, this mythical film draws the path of destinies which seek their truths beyond usually-assigned norms and genders. In this ode to freedom, joy and humour, the sexual quest portrayed with frontality mostly involves an almost existential search for the best way to become oneself. Very exciting!
