Suburban birds

Urban engineers investigate on a land subsidence. In a primary school, one of them, Hao, discovers the diary of a young boy... also called Hao. Suburban Birds sustains a heady mystery describing two stories of which we never really know if they cross each other (is Hao the same person?). Kafkaesque for the grown-up Hao, and rather on the side of Stand By Me for the young Hao. It is a film where we love to get lost without really feeling the need to find the exit.
