The Lobster

In a future perhaps not so distant, every single person is sent to the Hotel («the Hotel») and has 45 days to find a spouse or he/she’ll be transformed into the animal of his or her choice. One of them, David, will have to choose between the «shortsighted woman», «the heartless woman» or «the maid». Or not. Yorgos Lanthimos gather an amazing cast without losing the flavor of Dogtooth or Alps: a dissection of the relationships between men and women with a surrealist and dark humor. Why would anyone want to become a lobster? The film has its own logical answer.
