Mia, a young Czech girl, finds herself working as an au pair in a strange and shady Northern-European family. Fascinated, she participates in an operation that is as mysterious as it is toxic. Yet she only realizes it when she’s questioned by the police. Manipulation and crime are at the heart of this film.
Biography and Filmography
Michal Hogenauer (1984, Prague, Czech Republic) graduated FAMU. His short film "Children Watching Night Trains" (2008) was screened in Premiers Plans 2009. His diploma film "Tambylles" (2012) had a premiere at Cinéfondation section at Cannes Film Festival 2012. In 2015, he co-founded a film educational platform called "Cinergy Prague". Michal currently works as a freelance script consultant and festival programmer. "A Certain Kind Of Silence" is his feature debut.
