Official synopsis

Emma and Antoine, who have been together for eight years, visit Antoine's parents for the weekend. But Antoine suddenly breaks down and confesses to Emma that he wants to break up.

Biography and Filmography

Garance Kim was born in 1996 in Paris. A graduate with a degree in cinema from Paris 8 Saint-Denis, she is an actress, writer, and director. Since 2017, she has acted in several short and medium-length fiction films. She also performs for contemporary artists such as Laure Prouvost, Min Oh, and more recently Flora Bouteille. In 2022, she directed a short film co-written with Martin Jauvat, Ville Éternelle. Ville Éternelle won the Grand Prix du Jury at the Premiers Plans Festival in Angers and received the Youth Prize and the Best First Film Prize at the Côté Court Festival in Pantin. It was also selected for Clermont-Ferrand, acquired by Arte, and pre-selected for the 2024 Césars. In 2023, she directed a more experimental short film, Bruits de souvenirs, which won the Est Ensemble Prize (video art competition) at the Côté Court Festival in Pantin. In 2024, she will direct Tomber l’amour, her third short film, co-written with Théo Costa-Marini and produced by Tripode Productions.
