Foreword
10 years ago, the FIFIB was born from a furious desire for cinema, encounters and partying. Propelled by a group of film-loving friends who wanted to defend independent, free and daring cinema, the festival emerged under the stars of a 2012 autumn sky.
Having now reached an age when everything is new and wild, it has found its right place.
That of risk-taking, discomfort and passions.
Our audience, which is ever more curious and numerous, shares that vision. In their love for films screened in theaters, our spectators fully justify the existence of this festival, which praises doubt and everything approximate.
As risk lovers, we certainly understand each other. We'd like to poke our historical partners who have been supporting us and without whom we simply wouldn’t be able to go on with our crazy explorations. Here’s to a collective adventure with a team whose wild heart is burning for cinema.
Cinema is political, poetic, and certainly not over.

The FIFIB's 11th edition will take place from October 12th to 17th.
At night, the festival's Village will transform into an open air cinema and a gigantic dancefloor offering an eclectis programme open to everyone.
